Tumor affinities of /sup 67/Ga-citrate, /sup 169/Yb-citrate and /sup 57/ Co-bl eomycin were compared by experimental and clinical cases using scintigraphy, /sup 67/Ga-citrate showed the highest positive affinity for tumors, but its false positive was high. /sup 67/ Ga-citrate showed a good capacity to detect lesions difficult to find in the roentogenogram. The tumor scintigram with /sup 57/Co-bleomycin was clear. Bone structure was clearly portrayed and the relation of tumor position was clarified by /sup 169/Yb-citrate. /sup 169/Yb- citrate is especially useful for observing tumors in soft tissue at the same time as metastatic bone tumors. Exposure dose, half-life, and price of these three substances were also discussed. The half-life of /sup 169/Yb-citrate and /sup 57/ Co-bleomycin was long. The exposure dose of bone by /sup 169/Yb-citrate was large. When /sup 57/Cobleomycin is used, it is necessary to consider the treatment of excrement. /sup 57/Co-bleomycin was expensive in price, followed by /sup 67/Ga-citrate and /sup 169/Yb-citrate. As future tumor affinity subcitrate, which does not have the weak point of the long half life of /sup 169Yb-citrate, and bleomycin labeled by nuclides other than /sup 57/Co. (JA)
