Optical properties of zirconium diboride thin films

The optical properties of evaporated thin films of zirconium diboride were investigated at 4.1 to 11.3 eV. The optical constants were determined by reflectance measurements made at near-normal and oblique angles of incidence. The existence and energy of interband transitions and the plasma frequency are inferred from these results. (auth)
