Photodisintegration of Ar/sup 40/ nuclei induced by gamma bremsstrahlung of 70 Mev peak energy was investigated in a cloud chumber. The various types of photodisintegration as well as the integral cross section for the reaction ( gamma ,p) were determined. The energy and angular distributions of photo-protons from argon were derived. (tr-auth)
