STUDY OF ATMOSPHERIC RADIOACTIVITY (in French)

Journal Article · · Bull. inform. sci. et tech. (Paris)
OSTI ID:4261528
The different agents affecting the deposition of aerosols, in view of radioactivity measures, are discussed with emphasis on the conditions in which air filtering can be carried out. A new graphic method, for showing experimental data, shows immediately the relative importance of artificial and natural air radioactivity. Results gathered over three years (1955, 1956, and l957) illustrate the use of this method and supply wide information concerning the radioactivity of the atmosphere in France during that period.
