MODEL DESIGN OF p-p INTERACTIONS AT 10 Bev (in Russian)

A table of 200 accidental stars formed by p-p interactions at 10 Bev was developed previously in order to verify the method for modeling the processes of multiple production. The table considered processes producing 1 to 6 mesons according to the statistical theory and assumed the presence of isobars. Results from the analysis made of the stars are presented. The nucleon and meson spectra in the center of mass system and the proton and pi /sup +/ and pi /sup -/ meson spectra in the laboratory system were found. The theoretical magnitudes of the stars were derived from the table, and the angular distribution between the rays projected on the plane, normal to the interaction axis, was plotted. The analysis showed that with the increased number of prongs the statistical relation between the direction of the prongs becomes clearer. (R.V.J.)
