$pi$$sup -$-INTERACTION IN THE 1.4 Bev ENERGY REGION (in Russian)

Fermi's statistical theory, in which account is made of resonance interactions between a pi meson and nucleon or between two pi mesons, is employed to explain the experimental results pertaining to 1.4 Bev pi /sup -/ -p interaction. The results obtained are compared with the results of the isobar model proposed by Lindenbaum and Sternheimer (Phys. Rev. 109, 1723(1958)). (auth)
