EFFECTS OF NUCLEON ISOBAR WITH T = 1/2 ISOSPIN ON THE RESULTS IN STATISTICAL THEORY OF MULTIPLE PARTICLE FORMATION (in Russian)

>The presence of maximums in the total cross sections for pi -p scattering and meson photoproduction by protons at 700 Mev confirms meson-nucleon resonance interactions at T = 1/2 and S 3/2. The inclusion of a new nucleon isobar in statistical theory for pi -p interactions at 1.0, 1.4, and 4.5 Bev only slightly affected the desired results. The effect of the isobar at l to 5 Bev is suppressed by another to the larger mass) dominate the effects of (3/2,3/ 2). Insufficient data prevented any conclusions for the isobar (0,0) in the case of pi /sup -/-p interactions at 1.4 to 4.5 Bev. (R.V.J.)
