Introduced here is the `LM2500+` gas turbine that is expected to meet the same high standards of reliability and availability established by the GE marine and industrial Engines. A compressor stage is added and other changes are made in the single-spool LM2500-PE gas generator that increased the output by more than 20%, with only a modest increase in total cost. 3 figs., 2 tabs.
