S>Guinea pig bone marrow was cultured in vitro with increasing amounts of radioactive iron. Iron-59 uptake was evaluated in erythroblasts and in the cells as a whole. The proliferation maturation. and production of mature cells of erythroblasts and granuloblasts of normal bone marrow. bone marrow with erythroblastic hyperplasia after venesection and phenylhydrazine and bone marrow after wholebody x irradiation were determined.
