Journal Article · · Strahlentherapie (West Germany)

An increased amount of noradrenaline, adrenaline, and serotonine was determined by fluorescence-spectrophotometry in the urine of rats 2 hours after a single, shorttime total-body irradiation with 800 r. An increased amount of histamine was found 4 hours after irradiation. Blood analysis done 6 hours after irradiation showed a slightly increased concentration of tryptamine, serotonine, noradrenaline, and adrenaline. (auth)
