Under the effect of nucleic metabolism activators at a time remote from that of the irradiation (30 days) the restoration of the nucleic acid content in rats goes on at a slower rate than in guinea pigs. The nucleic acid content in the small intestine wall is restored earlier than in other organs. The nucleic acid content in the spleen is restored more slowly than in other organs; the liver occupies an intermediate position. (auth)
