From XXV Annual Congress of the Group for Advancement of Spectroscopic Methods, Paris, June 1963. A large number of elements such as Zr, U, Fe, Cr, Ni, Mn, Co, Cu, Zn, Ca, S, P, and Cl can be determined in polyphenyls by x-ray spectrography. Detection limits extend from some tenth of ppm for the elements between Ca and U, up to some ppm for the lighter elements, i.e., P, S, and Cl. However, the use of new conditions of analysis ought to improve the latter values. (auth)
