Determination of Fe, Ni and Cr Traces in Polyphenyls by X-Ray Spectrography; LE DOSAGE DES TRACES DE Fe, Ni ET Cr DANS LES POLYPHENYLES PAR SPECTROGRAPHIE X

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4661134
The presence of steel corrosion products in polyphenyls has lead to the development of a method for the dosage of Fe, Ni, and Cr traces by X-ray spectrography which enables detection to be carried out from 0.5 to 1 ppm, the concentration range being from 0 to 1000 ppm for iron and from 0 to 500 ppm for chromium and nickel. Analysis is made by comparison with synthetic standards. The method is fast (10 minutes per dosage), direct, and non-destructive. The interferences due to the matrix and other elements are negligible. (auth)
