A large number of elements such as Zr, U, Fe, Cr, Ni, Mn, Co, Cu, Zn, Ca, S, P, Cl can be determined in polyphenyls by x spectrography. Detection limits extend from some 10 ppm for the elements between Ca and U, up to some ppm for the lighter elements, i.e., P, S, and Cl. However, the use of new conditions of analysis ought to improve these latter values. (auth)
