ON DESOXYCYTIDINE EXCRETION WITH URINE FOLLOWING IRRADIATION OF RATS (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Radiobiologiya (U.S.S.R.) For English translation see Radiobiology (Engl. Transl.)
OSTI ID:4036822

Experiments on 81 white rats showed the dose dependence of desoxycytidine excretion in urine during the first day following irradiations of 0.05 to 10 kr. A 2.5 to 3 fold increase in the desoxycytidine excretion was observed in rats exposed to 50 r; 25 to 30 fold increases were observed in rats exposed to 800 r, Higher doses (5 to 10 kr) resulted in 40 to 70 fold increases.
