14.5 MEV NEUTRON-INDUCED FISSION OF U$sup 238$ (thesis)

Mass yields for A = 89 to 140 were measured for U/sup 238/ fissioned by 14.5-Mev neutrons. Comparison is made between the experimental results and those of Thode and Kuroda for spontaneous fission of U/sup 238/. Methods of calculating fission yields are discussed and their results compared with experimental results. (D.J.C.)
