Electrical properties of solid lithium-conducting electrolytes are studied in the following systems: 0.6Li{sub 4}Si{sub 1-x}Ge{sub x}O{sub 4}{center_dot}0.4Li{sub 3}PO{sub 4} (system I) and 0.6Li{sub 4}Si{sub 1-x}Ge{sub x}O{sub 4}{center_dot}0.4Li{sub 3}VO{sub 4} (system II), which have structures of the {gamma}-Li{sub 3}PO{sub 4} type. It has been shown that the change in conductivity due to the replacement of silicon cations with larger germanium cations is different in the systems studied. In system I, the size effect manifests itself over the entire range of compositions, while in system II, this effect is appreciable only when x > 0.6. The difference in behavior of the systems under study is accounted for on the basis of the cluster model of solid electrolyte structures.
