Solid electrolytes in the system Li/sub 3/VO/sub 4/-Li/sub 4/TiO/sub 4/

It was established that solid solutions with the general formula Li/sub 3+x/V/sub 1-x/Ti/sub x/O/sub 4/ and a structure similar to the structure of ..gamma..-Li/sub 3/VO/sub 4/, having a high lithium cationic conductivity, form in a wide range of compositions of the system Li/sub 3/VO/sub 4/-Li/sub 4/TiO/sub 4/. The main factor determining the high conductivity of the solid solutions is the presence of highly mobile interstitial lithium cations
