Study of photonuclear reactions on the Sn nucleus

The photoyields of nearly fifty residual nuclei from a {sup 118}Sn target irradiated by photons with a maximum energy of 4.5 GeV are measured using the technique of induced activity. The experimental values of the yields on the disintegration reactions ({gamma},xp yn) from all tin isotopes, as obtained in the authors earlier studies, are discussed. To take into account the dependence of reaction yields on the isospins of interacting particles, a new term is introduced into the five-parameter Rudstam formula. These results support the concept of isobaric invariance of nuclear forces. 13 refs., 2 figs., 2 tabs.
