The induced-activity method has been used to investigate the spallation of the enriched isotope {sup 65}Cu by photons with maximum energy 4.5 GeV with various target thicknesses. The photon-induced yields from the isotopes {sup 65}Cu were calculated with use of earlier data on the photospallation of copper with the natural isotopic composition. Comparison of the experimental yield values with the estimate according to the Rudstam formula confirmed the previously established dependence of the yields of residual nuclei on the isospins of the initial and final nuclei. Absolute values of the yields of the ({gamma},{pi}{sup +}) reactions in {sup 65}Cu and {sup 27}Al with inclusion of the contribution of secondary reactions were also obtained.
