We discuss data concerning the ratios of the yields of different isomeric states in the elements /sup 44/Sc and /sup 52/Mn. Experimental results are presented for measurement of the yields of /sup 44gm,/Sc and /sup 52gm,/Mn in disintegration of targets of /sup 51/V, /sup 55/Mn, and Cu by photons with energies from 2 to 5 GeV; theoretical values of yields for these elements were obtained by means of the five-parameter Rudstam formula. The pattern of formation of high-spin states in photodisintegration reactions is discussed in terms of the cascade-evaporative model.
