SnO{sub 2}-based ceramics feature nonohmic behavior and are promising for producing varistors. Of particular interest are the charge-transfer processes in these materials. In this paper, the authors studied the time dependences of the I-V characteristics for SnO{sub 2}-ZnO-Bi{sub 2}O{sub 3}-GeO{sub 2} ceramics of different compositions.
