OSTI ID:7320874
The results of investigating the angular and energy distributions of protons emitted in ..pi../sup +/+Xe interactions at 2.34 GeV/c are presented. The upper limit on the dispersion of the momentum distribution density function of the intranuclear neutrons of the Xe nucleus is estimated to be p/sub 0/ approx. = 350 MeV/c. The proton emission mechanism is discussed.
