Angular and energy distributions of protons from. pi. Xe interactions at 2. 34 and 3. 5 GeV/c

The energy and angular distributions of protons from ..pi..Xe interactions at 2.34 and 3.5 GeV/c are analyzed, and the experimental data are compared with the results of calculations based on the cascade-evaporation model. It is found that this model correctly reproduces the investigated proton spectra as well as the corresponding distributions in the number of secondary charged particles.
