Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE and G), has completed its assessment of a retrofit rooftop cool storage installation at the Henry C. Beck Middle School in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The demonstration and assessment was concluded in January 1992. This paper provides a summary f a prior 1986-87 study and an overview of the retrofit rooftop cool storage project. An analysis of the three year performance will be provided during the conference. The initial conclusion was that this concept could be a viable option for load management and may offer significant cost savings to commercial customers.
