Increased pig-iron output through improved coke

Problems connected with coke production or use that appear to constitute major limitations on the rate of pig-iron production are reported. Qualities required in coke to give maximum production of iron and means of attaining these qualities by modifications of ordinary practices at mines and plants are discussed.
