Distinctive features in postnatal development of rabbit adrenals following intrauterine radiation

Following exposure of pregnant rabbits to radiation, biochemical and histological changes in the adrenal glands of the offspring were studied at intervals during postnatal development. Morphological changes in the medulla, cortex, and glomerular zone at various stages of development are described as well as changes in the content of lipid, ascorbic acid, and alkaline phosphatase.
