We have constructed the p-T-x phase diagram of the Cd-As system in the temperature range of 300-1000/sup 0/K and pressure range 0.1 kPa-5 GPa. Three-dimensional phase equilibria are presented in the form of t-x cross sections, and p-T and T-x projections of the crystalline phase volumes of Cd/sub 3/As/sub 2/, CdAs/sub 2/, and CdAs.
