The method of recoil nuclei was adopted for studying the angular distributions of carbon-11 and fluorine-18 formed in the reactions /sup 12/C(p,pn) and /sup 19/F(p,pn)/sup 18/F induced by 660-MeV protons. The same method was used to measure the angular distributions of the nuclei /sup 11/C, /sup 13/N, /sup 18/F, and /sup 24/Na formed by the bombardment of an aluminium target by protons of the same energy. Angular distributions, cross sections, and energy spectra are discussed. (JFP)
