This report is concerned with the methods of evaluating the absorbed dose received by the tissues of persons to whom radiopharmaceuticals are administered. Imaging procedures, types of radionuclide, biological data and clinical measurements are discussed. The general procedures for absorbed-dose calculations recommended in this report are similar to those recommended by the Medical Internal Radiation Dose Committee of the Society of Nuclear Medicine (USA).
