Results are presented of an investigation made to determine possible usefulness of the feldspar jig in this country. A small, single-cell jig was used in the first part of the work, which was done at Bureau's Northwest Experiment Station, and a 100-ton-per-hour feldspar jig installed at the washery of the Northern Pacific Railway Co. was used in the second part. Work was done in cooperation with the School of Mineral Engineering, University of Washington.
