To study the property of the pulsating flow in jigs, one calculation method of the fluid equivalent length of water column is deduced and two kinds of resistances are discussed, and then the vibration differential equation is established in the paper. With the data measured on a LTX-14 jig in the Xingtai Washery, the fluid pulsating velocities are predicted using the measured pressures. Compared to the measured velocities, the results are satisfied.
