Conversion of LTX-35 jig

Conference ·
OSTI ID:349263
As the body of the LTX-35 jig is not reasonable, its separation efficiency has always been unsatisfactory. To improve its design, some lab studies were conducted. As the potential flow and the electric current movement abide by the same law, the Laplace Equation, one can simulate the velocity field with current field, and that is the principle of the hydroelectric simulation. According to this principle, one simple lab-device is developed. This method can be used to analyze and study the jig structure. To verify the simulation results, two kinds of guide plate were tested in the lab-jig.
