Electric power supply and demand for the contiguous United States 1984-1993. Staff report

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:7065857
The projected annual growth rate of electric power demand and generating capacity for the period 1984-1993 is less than the growth rate projected a year earlier for the period 1983-1992. Bulk power supply in general, for the period 1984-1993, is projected to be adequate for meeting projected peak demands. Continued reliability of power supply depends upon adherence to current schedules for new generating units and transmission facilities and the continued utilization of sound system operating practices by the bulk power industry.
