The methodology employed in producing the 1991 Edition of the Gas Research Institute (GRI) Baseline Projection, which integrates the results of several modeling efforts, is documented. The report describes the various models and their interaction. It also presents the energy demand analysis for the residential, industrial, commercial, and transportation sectors. The energy demand analysis for the electric utility sector is treated together with the supply and price analysis for electricity. The supply of primary fuels is also analyzed, together with the manner in which fuel prices are modeled. The report examines the enhancements made to this edition of the projection.
