Methods for the determination of complexones

The authors review the complexability and catalytic behavior of a wide range of metal ions, from zinc to thorium, in the preparation and analysis of their complexes with an array of organic compounds. The analytical methods investigated include spectrophotometry, titration, polarography, and chromatographic techniques, including gas, liquid, and ion exchange chromatography. Kinetic procedures are also evaluated.
