Tennessee Storage Co. and Southern Gas Storage Co. will develop an underground natural-gas storage facility in the Bear Creek field, Bienville Parish, La., giving both companies additional storage capacity of about 32 billion cu ft and providing a maximum winter deliverability of 450 million cu ft/day. The $260 million facility may begin operation in the 1980-81 winter if prompt Federal regulatory authority is received. The joint-venture companies are affiliates of Tenneco Inc. and Southern Natural Gas Co.
