Bear Creek Storage Co. will add 65 billion cu ft of working storage capacity to its underground facility. The project, in Bienville Parish, La., a joint venture of Southern Natural Gas Co. and Tenneco Inc., will include 52 injection-withdrawal wells, a compressor station with a 28,000 hp dehydration plant, and 25.3 mi of 6.625-14 in. pipeline. The storage field will be connected to Bear Creek's interstate systems by 31 mi of 24 and 36 in. pipe.
