The Navy and Marine Corps have a goal to eliminate Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) from electrical distribution systems and equipment in service by the year 2003. The report provides a comprehensive listing of the Navy and Marine Corps PCB transformers, capacitors, and PCB items that are in service, storage, and stored for disposal or disposed of as of 31 December 1993. The report shows inventories of 110 of 119 Navy and Marine Corps activities that reported for CY93 and has a list of PCB free activities. The number of PCB transformers, capacitors, and PCB items in service has declined by 299 compared to CY92 to a total of 6,067.
