Synthesis and properties of cadmium stannate

The authors synthesize and study the properties of cadmium stanate. The samples were synthesized by sintering the oxides. The chemical analysis was performed by dissolving the reaction products in hydrochloric acid, whereupon the free cadmium oxide dissolved. The x-ray study of the obtained powder, whose data are furnished in a table, showed that cadmium stannate, is formed in the synthesis. Heating curves for the end product were plotted to study the thermal stability of the cadmium stannate obtained.
