High pressure synthesis and transformation of alkali-oxyfluoro-metals of the type CsNaMO/sub x/F/sub 6-x/and RbLiMO/sub x/F/sub 6-x/ (in German)

Compounds and mixtures of compositions Cs/sub 2/NaMO/sub x/F/sub 6-x/ and Rb/sub 2/LiMOF/sub 5/ were transformed under high pressure to metastable modifications crystallizing in the hexagonal HT--K/sub 2/LiAlF/sub 6/ type structure and/or the cubic K/sub 2/NaCrF/sub 6/ elpasolithe type structure. Mixtures of composition Rb/sub 2/LiMO/sub x/F/sub 6-x/ (M = Nb/sup 5 +/ or Mo/sup 6 +/) yielded under high pressure besides LiF metastable compounds A/sub 2/MO/sub x/F/sub 5-x/ crystallizing orthorhombic in the K/sub 2/VO/sub 2/F/sub 3/ type structure.
