The major legislative, judicial, and administrative developments occurring at the state level in 24 states during 1981 are grouped alphabetically by state. Only Indiana and Kentucky of the states covered failed to pass new legislation, while Kansas, Kentucky, Nebraska, and Utah had no pertinent lawsuits. Six states took no new administrative action.
