Pit River Basin, California: water resources appraisal for hydroelectric licensing. Appraisal report

This report on the Pit River Basin provides information which the FERC and its staff may use or build upon, as appropriate, when considering matters related to hydroelectric licensing, relicensing, or recommendation for Federal takeover. The Pit River Basin, with an area of about 6100 square miles, is located in the northeastern corner of California. The economy of the basin, existing water-resources and related land-resources development, Project No. 233, need for development of water-resources and related land resources, and plans for future development are discussed.
