Preparation and characterization of superconducting B1-type Mo sub 1 minus x Nb sub x N thin films

In this work, the authors synthesize thin films of Mo{sub 1 {minus} {ital x}}Nb{sub {ital x}}N by applying a reactive sputtering method. Solid-solution thin films with B1 structure were obtained as a substrate temperature of 450{degrees}C, and some crystallochemical characterization performed on the as-sputtered films. The relationship between resistivity, sueprconducting transition temperature, and chemical composition of the films have been investigated.
