CYGRO-stress analysis of the growth of concentric cylinders (LWBR Development Program)

The digital computer program CYGRO determines stresses and strains in two concentric cylinders undergoing thermal strains and irradiation growth, where elastic, plastic, and creep parameters are given as functions of temperature and flux level. Volume growth, flux level, power level, gas pressure between cylinders, external pressure, and water temperature are given as functions of time. At the beginning of each time step, the steady state temperature distribution is calculated and used to determine material properties. (NSA 20: 7634)
