Trunkline LNG Co. 's 420 million cu ft/day LNG receiving-storage-revaporization terminal

Trunkline LNG Co.'s 420 million cu ft/day LNG receiving-storage-revaporization terminal will enable a 938 ft LNG tanker to be berthed and its 125,000 cu m cargo to be unloaded in 12 hr. The $165 million terminal is 25 mi from the Gulf of Mexico on an industrial canal off the Calcasieu ship channel near Lake Charles, La. Pullman Kellogg has begun site preparation. The terminal is due for completion in late 1980.
