Standard test method for volume change of elastomeric materials in hydraulic fluids under static conditions

The volume change of elastomeric materials immersed in hydraulic fluids under static conditions was determined by placing a sample of known dimensions and weight in a container of the fluid for 168 h at 70 +- 1/sup 0/C. At the end of the test period, the samples were cleaned, dried, and weighed in air and in distilled water.
