Research during the last year has focused on aspects of the phenomenon of thermotolerance, certain aspects of regulatory events associated with temperature shifts, continued analysis of both cDNA and genomic clones to certain families of HS proteins, and construction of various HS promoter/gene combinations for further analysis of the transcriptional aspects of the HS response. 8 refs.
