Onshore segment of the oil and gas extraction point source category: interim final rule making and proposed rule making

The EPA has promulgated effluent guidelines and standards for the oil and gas extraction point source category. The regulation is applicable to existing sources for the onshore subcategory, the coastal subcategory, the beneficial use subcategory, and the stripper subcategory. The specified limitations are to be achieved by the application of best practical control technology currently available.
