Kinetics and mechanism of chlorine discharge and ionization at titanium-ruthenium oxide anodes

The kinetic features of chlorine discharge and ionization at titanium-ruthenium oxide anodes were investigated at different chlorine and chloride concentrations. The Tafel sections in the anodic and cathodic curves were made apparent, and the reaction orders with respect to chlorine and chloride determined. A likely mechanism of the process was suggested.
